Just Add Power will display its latest solutions in booth #3412 at CEDIA Expo 2023, including its MaxColor 4K60 Series 2 MC-TX2 transmitter and MC-RX2 receivers in a gaming demo, putting its ARC and USB features on display. Attendees will also get the first look at the company’s new 3G Ultra 4K 767AES transmitter, featuring HDMI loopout and compatibility for AES67 audio systems. The show will also see the 7th annual Just Add Power daily guitar giveaway as part of its effort to bring awareness to the Guitars for Vets (G4V) program.
“There are boundless opportunities out there for installers, whether in the traditional residential market or lighter commercial, which demand modular, cost-effective, and installation-friendly AV-over-IP solutions that deliver great quality end to end,” says Taft Stricklin, chief sales officer at Just Add Power. “At CEDIA, installers will see solutions that will scale to their business and AV-over-IP ecosystem requirements, from our new 767AES transmitter to address installations with high-performance audio streams to our premium featured Series 2. Of course, it wouldn’t be CEDIA without giving away some guitars! So, stop by and enter!”
Just Add Power’s new MaxColor 4K60 Series 2 solutions include all the features and benefits of the MaxColor 4K60 Series 1 products with even more capabilities to support the most robust applications. With MaxColor Series 2, 4K60/4:4:4/36-bit-color video can be distributed over a 1 GB managed network using CatX (Cat 5e minimum) cable or fiber cable, so integrators can use the cable that best fits their projects. It also boasts power over USB-C, supporting KVM or, for example, a USB web camera signal over IP. With the new ARC feature from Just Add Power, installers can easily send audio from a TV connected to a MaxColor 2 receiver across the network to another MaxColor 2 receiver — connected to an audio-video receiver or another ARC-enabled amplifier — making project design even easier and more flexible. Its ARC and USB features make it ideal for home office, gaming, or Twitch streaming setup.
The MaxColor 4K60 Series 2 transmitter and receiver provide integrators with an affordable and scalable 4K UHD distribution platform to support today’s 4K source content natively with high frame rates over existing network infrastructures. MaxColor offers high frame rate, deep color, and 4:4:4 chroma support to ensure that what is seen on the screen matches the output of the source with no subsampling or downscaling. The series delivers zero detectable latency, instant and seamless switching, 4K up- and downscaling, and HDR management while supporting all lossless audio formats and HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision for the best viewing experience. Additional features include image pop, push, pull, and integrated control.
Being shown for the first time, the Just Add Power 3G Ultra 767AES is the newest transmitter in the 3G Ultra product line. It is a 4K transmitter with HDMI loopout that provides compatibility for AES67 audio systems with any Just Add Power AV distribution system. Like the other models in the 3G Ultra family, the 767AES transmitter can be mixed and matched with any Just Add Power 3G, 3G+AVP, 2GΩ/3G, and 2GΩ/3G+ models for interoperability with leading audio-over-IP technologies, including Dante devices.
At the booth, there will be daily guitar giveaways to bring greater awareness to G4V’s mission to provide relief to struggling veterans through the healing power of music and community. The company has supported the cause for seven years, donating guitars to the program annually. This year, the company is donating nine Epiphone acoustic guitars to G4V’s cause, and CEDIA Expo attendees can enter for a chance to win one Fender Player Stratocaster guitar, Paul Reed Smith Silver Sky SE John Mayer signature guitar, or EVH Wolfgang Edward Van Halen Signature model guitar.
