Lutron’s new app
Lutron Electronics has released three refreshed app interfaces for its Caséta Wireless, RA2 Select, and RadioRA2/HomeWorks QS systems. With their intuitive design and streamlined interfaces, the newly redesigned Lutron and Connect apps make it simpler to control lights, shades, and temperature from anywhere in the world.
New app features include quicker access, including a view of the status of all scenes and devices in the home, now organized by room right on the dashboard.
Homeowners also can use the app in their preferred viewing option, portrait or landscape mode, and a larger field of view is available for devices and scenes, requiring less scrolling to access information.
The Lutron app now allows access to smart home products from other vendors, and provides homeowners access to their installer’s contact information right from the app in the event that their assistance is needed.
“Lutron is focused on providing a best-in-class user experience across all product platforms, including our apps,” said Rich Black, director of residential business development at Lutron. “This refreshed look will enhance the user experience by providing quicker and easier access to their lights, shades, and thermostats.”
