Three balanced multi-strand 99.99 percent oxygen-free-copper conductors are individually isolated for superior connection integrity and make up the first layer of shielding. The second and third layer consist of an aluminum wrap shield and 56-strand spiral braid of high purity copper. A PVC jacket wrapped in densely braided cotton sheath provides flexibility, easy gripping, and forms the final two layers of the five-layer insulation system.
