Clare Controls has added the Wi-Fi HD video doorbell to its ClareVision+ line of IP surveillance cameras, providing North American consumers with a high-quality, full featured doorbell camera with no costly monthly fees. The Clare Video Doorbell comes with onboard storage, is set to record on motion, and auto-configures for remote viewing within the free, redesigned ClareVison+ app. The camera functions as a standalone device to replace virtually any doorbell. Current ClareHome customers who already own a Clare smart home system can enjoy the auto-discovery feature and incorporate the product through self-install.
“Onboard storage, direct doorbell wire installation, and no onboard battery or additional power source requirement provides a solution unlike any other in the category,” said Matt Burris, custom installation specialist at CED. “On top of that, installation was incredibly simple and the camera outperformed all my expectations.”
The Clare Video Doorbell provides a view to the front door from anywhere via the free ClareVision+ or ClareHome apps (iOS and Android). Users can see and speak with whomever is at the door, and built-in motion sensors detect movement and can trigger instant mobile alerts to begin HD video recording. For consumers who desire whole-home monitoring and additional storage, the doorbell cam can integrate with a ClareVision+ NVR for multi-camera systems. Just like all the cameras in the ClareVision+ line, the Clare Video Doorbell is compatible with many of the most popular home automation control systems.
Clare is offering the ClareVision+ line to its direct and distribution dealers. Products will be available for Clare system owners to order from the myClareHome.com portal.
