Trinnov Audio has announced that users will now be able to take control of their Trinnov Altitude and Amethyst processors through their local network by using their iOS device as a remote control.
“Our iOS App gives Trinnov Altitude and Amethyst owners a new and highly useful way to easily control their Trinnov processors without an external control system,” says Trinnov CEO Arnaud Laborie. “This is a further example of our commitment to provide Trinnov owners with continuing improvements and added features.”
The app enables control of the day-to-day functions of both Altitude models and the Amethyst.

- Preset selection
- Optimizer Bypass

- Source selection
+ App based controls for Altitude32 and Altitude16:
- Listening mode selection
- Displays format of content playing
More functions will be added over time. The application can be downloaded on the App Store. Trinnov is also working on macOS and Windows Desktop versions that will be released by this summer.
Automatic network discovery of the Trinnov processor requires Trinnov software version 4.0 or above. With older versions, it may require users to enter the IP address of their processor manually. If the processor runs a software version between 3.8 and 4.0, a system update will enable the automatic network discovery. Contact support@trinnov.com to install the patch.
