Kevro International Inc., the exclusive North American distributor of Monitor Audio Hi-Fi loudspeakers, has promoted George Haight to director of sales for the U.S. Central region.
Haight, who joined Kevro four years ago as a product specialist, will now be responsible for sales and territory management in the Central region of the United States, which includes Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North/South Dakota, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North/South Carolina, Tennessee, and Southern Virginia.
Haight’s responsibilities will include managing a team of independent sales professionals and outside rep firms while continuing to cultivate and grow existing and new relationships with specialty AV retailers within his new territory. His role will include playing a key part in helping the Kevro sales and marketing team develop ongoing sales training, programs, and other vital channel initiatives designed to solidify the Monitor Audio brand as an industry leader.

Haight will report directly to Mike Benedetto, VP of sales and business development. “George’s appointment will bolster our regional presence in the U.S. and allow us to focus more resources toward our independent reps and dealers to achieve mission-critical success,” Benedetto said. “His intimate knowledge and passion for Monitor Audio Products and Hi-Fi as a whole is a tremendous asset to our company and will be carried through to our channel partners and customers.”
Haight is a graduate of Auburn University where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and brings with him 10-plus years of specialty AV retail experience.
