Burlon’s diverse passions shine through both in his treasure trove of collected vinyl LPs and statement art pieces, and now also in his choice of a top-tier L-Acoustics Syva professional sound system for the villa’s defining open-plan living area.
This beautiful, single-story Mediterranean home is intentionally divided into two sections, one for “resting in” and one for “living in.” Tying them together, the villa’s breathtaking contemporary architecture creates a fluid feel throughout the home, embracing and connecting inside spaces to the natural environment outside. This ethos is best exemplified in Marcelo’s living area, which opens to the gardens outside and is the focal point for relaxation, socializing, and partying with guests.

Unreal Systems has installed a pair of L-Acoustics Syva loudspeakers with a pair of Syva Low subwoofers on either side of Burlon’s DJ booth in the living room. Powered by an L-Acoustics LA4X amplified controller, these provide a powerful, high-quality soundtrack for DJing and parties that can comfortably extend outdoors, thanks to the 142 dB of peak SPL and 140 degrees of coverage. The system is also versatile enough to provide impeccable detail and warmth at lower volumes, making it perfect for simple listening and relaxation.
