By RS Staff Published: April 27, 2017 ⋅ Updated: April 15, 2019 Bryston has promoted Gary Dayton to VP of sales and marketing, U.S., effective immediately. Dayton has worked in the high-performance audio community for nearly two decades, having spent nine years with THIEL Audio before coming onboard as a product specialist with Bryston in 2013. Dayton will interface with reps, dealers, and support end users from his office in Lexington, KY. Dayton takes on his new role as Bryston readies the release of several new 2017 products, and is seeing increased demand for Cubed Series amplifiers, digital products, loudspeakers, and the BLP-1 turntable that was recently unveiled. Dayton also channels valuable market data and emerging trends back to the engineers in Canada, where Bryston products are designed and manufactured. “In my new role, I will seek to provide our sales channel with the tools they need to be successful selling Bryston products,” Dayton said. “I find it particularly gratifying to support a factory that has unlimited passion for high-performance audio, as well as dealers and custom integrators who specify Bryston based on performance and customer service. I am thrilled to undertake this new role on behalf of the Bryston brand.” “Gary is a tremendous asset to Bryston and we are excited to have him oversee sales and marketing in the U.S.,” said Bryston VP James Tanner. “Gary has shown a particularly strong technical aptitude for the high-performance audio arena and has developed valuable relationships throughout the channel since joining Bryston—we are confident in his capacity to succeed in this new role. Our independent reps and dealers can count on superlative service and a wealth of product knowledge that Gary has exhibited as he has grown with the Bryston brand.”
