Q&A with Cody Crossland, vice president of sales and marketing at Blackwire Designs.
Why exhibit at CEDIA Expo 2024?
The CEDIA Expo offers invaluable opportunities for us to demonstrate new products and services and have direct engagement, allowing us to interact face-to-face with new and existing dealers alike to build stronger relationships and better understand how we can help them be more successful.
The Expo also provides an excellent platform for strengthening our vendor partnerships and exploring new business opportunities. The Expo’s environment facilitates connections with industry professionals and friends. It’s almost like “The Big Game” of our industry with a lot of excitement during the week.
We will also be hosting two training sessions at the show. The first session focuses on Blacklight, our linear lighting design tool that simplifies the entire design process, featuring American Lighting. The second session is the much-anticipated Ruckus session, led by our certified Ruckus trainers and with guests from Ruckus participating as well, offering in-depth insights and hands-on learning.
Most importantly, Blackwire is celebrating our 15-year anniversary this year at CEDIA, and we couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
Partner companies like Ruckus and IFP are leading the charge with new and innovative industry-specific solutions, highlighting the demand for simplifying and expediting the installation process, while setting a great foundation for future growth. Uniview’s breakthrough Owlview technology will change how surveillance cameras see at night. We are eager to demonstrate how Blackwire’s solutions support these trends and contribute to more efficient and effective AV installations.
What will you focus on at the show?
We will highlight our tools and services, like our easy-to-use, web-based LED linear light design tool Blacklight. Our new Network Provisioning Service allows dealers to install ready to deploy enterprise networking from Ruckus, Netgear, and Firewalla product lines that ship preconfigured at no extra charge. Our famous turnkey AV-over-IP systems from Just Add Power and AVPro are all designed to save time and money for integrators. Our focus will also be on demonstrating the benefits of partnering with us, including personalized support and our P3 rewards program that offers immediate discounts and perks. Product demonstrations will provide attendees with hands-on experiences with our in-house and partner products and solutions to allow attendees to experience the quality and performance of our offerings. Additionally, we will share our industry-leading expertise through training sessions to share tips and tricks for our innovative solutions, helping integrators stay ahead while being efficient.
Leveraging feedback from our past expos, we’ve made updates to the interface of our Control4 Multiview Pro driver, and we just released VideoWall Pro driver for Control4 systems utilizing Just Add Power and AVPro MXNet systems, designed to simplify and enhance the operation of video walls. We have a lot of exciting products on display, fun games to test your skills, and snacks so be sure to stop by our booth!
