Q&A with Mark Corbin, president, Vanco International.
Why CEDIA Expo 2022?
We’re very connected to residential distributors and integrators, and we get a lot of feedback about what kinds of products they need. Residential technology advances really fast, and that presents many opportunities for us to meet evolving needs.
We’ve released over 100 products since our last CEDIA Expo: everything from HDMI extenders to speakers to HDMI distribution solutions. We’re really excited to get these products in people’s hands and discuss how we can help them execute their trickiest projects with budget margin to spare. CEDIA Expo is the best place to do that; for the residential integration industry, this is home.
What is the most exciting trend you expect to see at the show?
The last few years have been great for the residential integration industry. People have been feathering their nests by building home offices, upgrading their media and fitness rooms, and creating outdoor entertainment spaces. The main check on all that growth has been supply chain. I expect one of the most prevalent conversations at the show to be “What’s real? What do manufacturers really have in stock, when will products ship, and how long is the wait list?”
I’m excited to have that conversation because Vanco has got the goods. You need an AVoIP distribution solution? An all-in-one videoconferencing unit for your home office or living room? An in-wall or outdoor audio amp? Come talk to us in booth #25081.
What will you focus on at the show?
I think people are going to be shocked by the sheer number of project problems they can solve in the Vanco Booth. We’ll be debuting new products like our flagship HDBaseT 3.0 extender and our PulseAudio Collaboration Video Bar. We’ll also be demonstrating our patented Beale Street Sonic Vortex speakers, which offer incredible frequency response and clarity with no bleedthrough, and our flexible and affordable Beale Street Outdoor line. Plus, we’ll have the full Evolution matrix and EVO-IP lines on display, representing video distribution solutions for any endpoint resolution or number.
We’ll be offering training in the booth on Thursday and Friday to help people explore the full spectrum of Vanco solutions. Stop by at 10:00 AM to learn about all our new products or 3:00 PM for a deep dive into the EVO-IP system.
